Is this a good carbon filter for a 10x7 room

I have been looking forever for a good carbon filter and stumbled upon this good deal. Would you consider this a good filter for having 9 plants. Or would a can filter be better?

10x7x(?) Ill guess 7ft would be 490cfm to replace the air in one minute. I have a 5x5x7 and run a 6in can fan H.O. and 550cfm phresh filter (6x24). Rather be prepared than to go into battle short handed...

Nothing beats a Can brand filter.

If your room is 10 long x 7 wide x about 8 feet high you need about 650 or more cfm exhausting. That fan/filter combo is nowhere near that.

You could find cheaper prices but this is close to what you need. About 275 total.

If you wish to go cheaper just bump down to a 6" fan and filter of same brand but the very minimum you need for cfm in that size room is 600, I wouldn't go much lower.

Agreed. That 4" might do the job, but a 6-8" would be better. As for the Can filter/fans. In my personal opinion, your paying extra for the brand name, not necessarily a better product. That being said, I've read nothing but good things about them.

A little more info about your setup would help.

Are you using a sealed environment with co2 and looking to mount this within the room to just scrub the air within the grow?

Or are you wanting to exhaust your entire area with this setup?

Do you need it to remove hot air from your room as well as scrub?
