Calyx. Pistils are the white hairs above it. You'd see male flowers long before seeds if it had hermed.

Don't limit yourself to nirvana, these days with pick and mix fem seeds it's cheap enough to just buy one seed of what you really want. Clone the fuck outta it and be happy with good genetics.

I use herbies and never had a problem. One time customs snatched my order and herbies replaced it in less than a week!
