So, just noticing that the dimmer knob on two my lights are really inconsistent.
For example at 50% it's only putting out 12k lux at 14", at 75% it's only like 20k lux, but then at 85% it's at 40k and 100% is putting out around 60k lux.
I have heard drivers aren't as efficient at lower loads, but this only effects the lights with an external dimmer. The two with inbuilt potentiometers (meanwell ELG-240) are pretty linear in comparison..
Shitty dimmers or a drivers that aren't very efficient at lower loads? The driver in question is a sosen 150v-56b. The meanwell ELG drivers I have here with inbuilt potentiometers are way more linear as you dim.
All boards have 281b diodes.
