I agree with when to switch to bloom but as far as counting I see no point. I guess if you have mothers and want to know exactly how long her clones will take.... Otherwise your just counting for the sake of counting.
I count for my journal. It also helps when comparing to others growing the same strain.
Maybe same strain from the same breeder.... But medium and lights do have an affect on flower time too. I just love growing good bud for myself and being happy with it. Only journal i care to keep is just a photo album.
