I have a plant in my tent not producing trichombs. Every other plant looks good, same enviroment and food. I grew from seeds so i understand they are going to be all slightly different but this is just a waste of space. Should I just rip er outta there now and make room for the otherels to finish or just leave it and hope?

Trichomes are generally an indication of thc content and potency, but not in every case. But if your gut's telling you to toss it to make room for something potentially better, then by all means toss her.
 
Looks like you were heavy handed with nitrogen- which can impact flower formation. Notice the shiny leaf.

Also , plants don’t really feed “ the same “ . Pistil heavy strains exist , not necessarily a bad thing ( like mexi red hair ) … worse you can do is run it as a side plant.

If you got this from clone you might have a diseased and potentially contagious plant. HLVD will cause plants to not produce trichomes or THC hardly. I know a handful of people in Michigan who bought hundreds of clones from rookies last year for their outdoor and had literal dud grows outdoors due to HLVD. Plants will grow kinda small and not flourish or produce much resin if any.

I know the virus isn't as widespread as people think but it does exist and a lot of clone sellers especially get it because a few reasons.
Off topic: Reasons to avoid buying/taking clones. Especially if its from someone/somewhere that exclusively sells clones..
A: They don't flower plants, they don't know wtf the buds even look like on the cut they are selling.
B: They use water cloners, which share water with all other open-wound cuttings.
C: Clone dealers typically buy clones from someone else, then reproduce the plants themselves.
D: Shit like Powdery Mildew can be harbored in the plant tissues and not show its ugly face until bloom.

I'll go with @Budzbuddha on this one, looks like too much N caused that plant to reduce flower/trichome formation, burnt tips are usually the culprit
But it happens in all sorts of strains, some seeds are not good no matter how good their P1 was.
 
That plant looks like it has another month-ish to go. I wouldn't be too quick to toss it. I've had plants before that look like this at this point but by the end they're covered. I'd wait man you could regret it.
 
Genetics is everything. Growing from seed, every plant will be slightly (or wildly) different. The goal of popping seeds is to find the one special plant, and clone it. I don’t recommend growing full size plants from seed, because you’re going to get some mediocre ones. Put your seeds in small pots, cloning each one, and figure out the keepers. Some breeders will grow hundreds of seeds from the same stock just looking for that 1.
 
I had a Caramelicious auto that kept her trichs close like that first pic. Once trimmed up she smoked great but had no "sugar" leaves to speak of.

Great advice - never buy clones from rookies or Craigslist; etc. BUT some clone farms only sell breeder cuts, and these are the real deal (in MI you can get some good quality clones if you know where to look - like from Tiki Madman’s crew). But even these can come with diseases- especially HLVD (hops virus) - a few years ago no one even was aware of this and kept wondering why their plants would lose vigor. I got hit with this bad myself getting clones directly from well known breeders.
Best to pheno hunt from seeds.

Your plant looks like it has lots of tricomes, there even on the leaves, you can see them on the pics . The plant looks fine, just looks like some time to go yet.
 
It's looking alright overall, probably just not a good representation of the genetics at hand.
But let it finish cuz no matter how it's looking it can be killer, the magic is in the trichomes glue that do exist and it can be very good so maybe you can run it again better.

The flower has very little smell. The buds themselves have some visible tricombs but I've never seen so few.
On the other hand this plant has the tightest bud formations in the tent.
Anyways I am leaving it in there and update after curing.

Not trying to take away from that, but to some degree at least, HLVD was blown out of proportion by labs and seed banks looking to profit off it. For the average new grower that stumbles on the topic, top google hits are largely paid for by those labs and seed banks... jes sayin'. That said, yes it is very real, just ask DHN or any other number of clone vendors that bit the dust because of it.
