Pull back your buds on your upper most and densest colas to see. That's where botrytis likes it most. If you see a gray webbing type of stuff, then you have mold.
 
This was from fairly fresh bud that went through a grinder. I tore some and looked at the point where it was torn. This seems to be just green stem with torn trichome stalks. No white anywhere else.
