is this ok, seeds planted in soil under 600 watt hps

hi have just started some auto seeds in a mini green house
i have them in my grow room on the side but there is a 600 watt hps about a meter away will this be ok to sprout them or is it to strong please let me know thanks:-?

Prop em up closer to the light, might not be strong enough.

If the light is far enough away its not a problem for the plants, its a problem of efficiency on your part.

It costs money to run that 600 watter, so its not smart if a flouro could do the job.
