Is this starting to foxtail?

Hey all. This is my Girl Scout Cookies AUTO. From Fast Buds.
On week 10 right now.
She Smells amazing.
Just wundering if you guys think this might be the start of foxtail? Iv never had it happen before but theres a first time for everything!
Also im trying to decided when i should chop her down...? Any suggestions?
Im thinking any time but maybe im missing something.

She was LST for a bit just to get 3 coals.

that is most definitely foxtails. i'm sure there are other causes but in my experience this is from too much heat. sometimes from letting a plant go too long, but thats rare, at least at my place.
it looks pretty close from what i can tell, but its hard to tell without some closeups, maybe some smartphone microscope app pics?

Thanks for your reply! So i had some 1 tell me she needs another couple weeks but i felt it was time to cut her down... its a 9 week autoflowering strain and im going onto week 11. Its outdoor so as for heat stress there isnt much i can do about that.
I tryed to get a pic with a mag app but just not working out for me so i checked the entire plant with my microscope. No clear all milky trics.

I think im giung to cut her down within the hour.

What do u think? Ill post a couple new pics right now tho.

This is her today. No clear trics. Seems to be almost 100% milky.

Going to cut her down within a couple hours i think. Unless some1 thinks i should wait?

Smells super nice! Best smelling girl iv had lol.

Each pic is a differnt coal.

Yes thats foxtailing. strain is a big factor in foxtails that a lot of people overlook. a lot of sativas will give you that. as to chopping it down. i always wait for ATLEAST 25% amber trichs. but i usually go 50-50

Thanks for the reply! I will keep on checking but so far all i see is milky. I know some autos never go amber. Or so iv researched.
To me id say from what i see shes at 98% milky. Even the lowest buds are milky. None clear.

Yes you are correct about some not going amber. i have heard of regular photos doing it too. yeah man i would check for a couple days straight and see what happens. if nothing changes over a few days from them all being cloudy/milky then your good to go, since it isnt most likely going to change at that point

if its all milky and no ambers at all, it might be one of those strains, watch it for a few days, if it stays that way for more than 3 or 4 days, i'd go ahead and cut it

Hahaha long days work makes you re-think ideas you had 10 hours ago lol. I wanted to re-arrange my tents and plants tonight. but... i got home from work an hour ago and have yet to do shit lol.

Lmao ya it sure does. Although im still kinda undecided... its 23°c right now and at 5am its 5°c so im trying to figure out whats a better time/temp to cut her down... any thoughts?

i usually try to dry them between 62-72 degrees F. with humidity around 35-45 RH %

the general practice is to cut just before lights on if you can, most of the starches in the plant are in the roots and its supposed to make things dry more evenly and taste better.
if i'm being perfectly honest i've cut in the morning and in the evening, and can't really tell the difference. maybe i just don't have a refined palate

I don't buy that there is a difference, but I have read this other places. There is no scientific reason, atleast that I have encountered, that supports the idea. I let the medium dry out pretty completely before harvest, but that is all that makes sense to me by way of preparation. Dry harvest, like a tomato.

Ok shes down!!! At 11 weeks.
Took all the big fan leaves off and a few sugar leaves.
Looks like it will be an okay yeild.

Instintly filled the garage with her sweet citrisy aroma. Amazing.
