Today I was about to mist fox farm foliar (flowers kiss) new product.. And I decided to aerate the botle where it was contained, before I aerate it with air pump I ph tested and I got 6.8, after 1 1/2 hr I ph tested again and tester showed 8.3. But ths is not the only thing yesterday I had a 5 gallon jar of rain water and I put the air stone in to aerate same thing water was at 7.0 on tester, then today tested again and it was at 8.5...... Had anyone experience this aeration and ph issues.

this is the better forum than anyone had landed on.
Never have I misted my plants, nor have I used the new product you speak of. But being that the only thing you are adding to the water is the airstone and air, I would assume the climbing ph is due to the airstone. I let my water sit out with an aerator and never had any issues.. What kind of airstone are you using?

IMO I believe your ph meter is not the problem. ph will vary as temperature swings up or down and by aereating you are changing that baseline temp. ph 7.0 is only a true nuetral of 7.0 when the solution checked is at 23 degrees centigrade.
