I've got a lighting question...

I have one plant that apparently was an autoflower, and has already gone to bud. Unfortunately it is not near as big as I hoped it would be when this occurred. Since it is still kind of early spring weather in here in the Northeast, and sunny days can be few and far between, I thought I would put it under lights to try and maximize growth. My question is, should I be keeping it under maximum light, i.e. 18/6, or something like that, or should I go with a 12/12 schedule. Is there anything else I can be doing besides nutes. to maximize bud growth?

Thanks,

Autos will start to flower in about 21 days even under 24 hr lites. You can grow them at 18-6 and be fine. Might watch the nutes. A Auto does not need as many.
