John Doe Seeds?

Has anyone used this service from Nirvana? Apparently it's a service where you mail cash instead of using a card to order. I like the idea (of stealth), and Nirvana's never done me wrong, but I'd feel much better if someone told me they've used this service.

Curiously enough, the shipping on the seeds is supposed to be free for this service. They claim to use the same manner of shipping, which would otherwise cost you about $10.

NOT BS ordered papaya last monday from nirvana sent cash (us dollars) wrapped up in a black high times page (for discreetness) They recieved the cash and I have been watching my order status it went from awating payment- payment recieved- packaging goods-shipped as of this week I am waiting on the beans (their in the mail) ill let you know when they get here

but the john doe process did work! now lets see if their shipping process works...

Put cash in drop box mon afternoon and by friday morning nirvana got it

I printed out a form for Raspberry Cough when it was on sale over the weekend. I could slip it into an envelope with a $20 bill and mail it I suppose, wonder if that would irritate them in any way though. Delaying the order that is... or maybe i'll just wait until next weekend if it is something good. Ten bucks is ten bucks, right?

seeds on sale are always regular never feminized so I never get them...

I sent in an order for some feminized black jack on Oct. 13, still have not gotten it but I will keep everyone posted. I really hope that it comes through and soon because I have really been looking forward to trying these out for my op and if it does not go as planned I may have to resort to some beans that a friend has at cost and lower quality of course.

I never ordered from this company but am I right in thinking their the same peeople as nirvana?
Cuz its nothing new then really , Ive sent cash to nirvana before and got my order no probs, just takes a bit longer.

It is run by Nirvana Shop, yes. What is weird is that if you order through John Doe Seeds by printing out their order form and sending in cash, there is apparently no shipping charge whatsoever. They state that they ship in the exact same manner as if you had ordered through Nirvana Shop. This is the only thing that is a little odd.

Huh. Maybe to compensate for the extra risk or summat?

Sending cash may be a risk but I did it with High Grade Seeds and it went flawlessly. The cash-stealth idea is smart, but it is going to take quite a bit of positive reviews before people really start trying this new method. I'd be willing to try but I'm broke as a joke.

i've bought from nirvana 4 times, everytime i use my regular credit card and all orders have come in the mail within 2 weeks, never had a problem using my regular credit card.

Update: I just got the seeds in the mail today, it took 1 day shy of four weeks from the day that I dropped my order in the mail box. They all look great and I've started germinating one already so we'll see how they turn out in about 11 weeks. I cant wait!

I have no question about the efficacy of Nirvana-Shop when ordering via credit card. The thing with sending cash is that it would take a lot longer, as others mentioned up to several weeks. When you send your cash you're basically relinquishing it to fate. It could be lost in the mail, but a much larger worry is that whoever opens it will simply take the cash and destroy your order form. And Nirvana might not even be to blame, it seems like cash is being sent directly to the payment processor (Themis Pay). Sure you could go with registered mail, but all that would prove is if the letter was ever delivered; not that any full payment was assuredly received. Perhaps the risk is why there are no shipping charges as someone already suggested.

Maybe you could make a note with your e-mail and they would send you details about the progress of your order, but then there goes your lack of a digital trail... albeit less of a trail than a credit card linked to your name and address.

I ordered sum aurora indica from john doe sept 8

ordered from john doe -white widow, northern lights, aurora indick and jock horror on oct 8 by mail with 109.02 in cash inside all wraped up in the order form. Havent recieved anything yet. Still hopeful but hope is fading.
