Its July 6th 2015 I'm in nor cal...should my plant be flowering already? Because they are.20150706_114946.jpgthese are 1 mendo purp left...2 training day middle and right. I went from baby clines and dropped them in the ground June 1st. They are already a shade over three feet. Jus wondering if i should jus flower them out it seems as though that's what the girls want.

The two training days are just preflowering but the mendo is in full flower pistols everywhere. And I can see bud starting to form. But from what I understand about mendo it is an early finisher. They say it goes by age not photoperiod

The issue about autoflowering plants is that they flower by TIME and they cannot be fooled to stay in vegetative period by turning the lights on for longer periods.

This means that these Ruderalis genetics of these plants know how old they are and will start flowering two to tree weeks after sprouting no matter what light cycle they get .
Because of this autoflowering trait these plants cannot be cloned effectively . For example if you manage to take a clone from a auto-flowering marijuana plant and you manage to plant it , it will flower exactly at the same time as it’s “mother”. This means that you’r newly taken clone will probably start flowering a few days after the cloning and nothing will return that little cutting back to vegetative stage as it is possible with regular short-day cannabis strains.

AUTOFLOWERS also cannot recover ( or have time to ) therefore it is not recommended.
You can LST autoflower plants ( depending on strain ) . Some growers have topped auto but the general rule is not to induce any stress for it will drop yield significantly.

OK then they can't be auto flower because they have been vegging for a month and a half. I got the clones from a dispensary. They are definitely getting enough sun light. They are not stressed out either they are nice and happy. I guess they just want to start flowering. I was always told don't go by time go by what the plant is telling me she wants to do
