Just a quick question on sex determination. Please help.

ok anyways I've been growing this one plant for 1 week and a few days now. Almost two weeks but not exactly. Anyways my one 42 watt/2700 lumen CFL light has been on the plant constantly toward the plant. i just got another light today. Same size and everything. Anyways would I be able to tell the sex yet or no. Sorry no pics i might be able to give you one tomorrow. And by on the plant constantly i mean a 24 hour light cycle.

You need to switch to 12/12 to induce flowering to tell the sex. wait 'till your plant is at least 3 weeks to get a decent harvest, bare in mind it will double it's size if not more.

Hey guys, sorry to hijack the thread, but I've got a picture... Looks definately male to me, but those little pistol looking things are throwing me off... The pistols look a little darker than they should be, no? And I can't tell if those are balls or something else coming in. Thanks guys.

I just got some picks of my setup and my stuff. Are you able to tell and is it a good enough setup to bud anyways after I put it on a 12/12 cycle.

Here's my setup. They're two 45 watt/2700 lumen bulbs.


Then here are my roots.

No need to go 12/12 to sex plant. after 4 weeks or so they will show sex at the internodes. either a short blunt ended nub will show(male preflower) or a long pointy pistol will show (female preflower).and you can keep the veg doing at that point or flower it.but you wont have to stop and growing if you want a bigger plant or if you SCOG or LST or whatever you want.
