just a quick question

A little more than a month ago i just randomly threw some seeds into a 5 gallon bucket, not intending on growing anything, just seeing what would happen i guess...well i just checked on it and i have 3 beautiful plants growing about 9 inches tall at least. I was going to transplant them but i think they have gotten too big. When i moved some of the soil away to see the roots i saw alot of elaborate roots and i'm afraid if i try to transplant them i will kill them. My question to you is, if i leave them in the same 5 gallon bucket will they be okay to bud out? I've always heard if u have more than 1 plant per pot they will pull nutes from each other. (i've started feeding them and taking care of them now) ;-) Any advice would help me out, i'm pretty much a newbie at this, i've had several grows but nothing to brag about. Thank you!

are they outside im guessing? they will get big if you cant dig them out without ripping there roots to shit i would kill one or maybe even 2 and keep the best looking one. fuck it since you didnt even know you had them let them all grow and do an experiment... they will just not grow as big as they could but who cares

Your best bet would be to transplant two out of the bucket as soon as possible. The longer you wait the bigger their roots will get and eventually you will have 2 dead plants because the strongest will kill off the others, that or you will get a male and by then you won't be able to pull it because the roots will be too tangled. One plants root system will fill a 5gal bucket easily near the end of the season theres no chance all 3 will live and bud. Good Luck.
