Just began flowering is it too late?

Im around Madison,Wi and My plant in the woods is just starting flowering should I be worried will it get done in time b4 the first frost? Plz help

no you should be fine, just keep track of the first frost

yea when your plant just starts to flower the stem is still growing just closer togerther to make a cola!! thats wehn teh nodes start to grow alternating ends and closer together. If the nodes are still pretty far apart then you might need to clear some weeds down so the plant gets good lighting so they will start to grow more nodes which are closer together. Youll will understand when you see it when they grow closer together that forms a cola. and the flowers grow all up together. try bending the stem over sideways and tie it down to a stick shoved into the grond.then the flowers that are space far apart will grow up to make more colas instead of trying to grow up the stem.
