Hey everybody,
This is my first time posting here. So before anything, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this forum, I'm just finishing up my first closet/cabinet grow, (Auto #1 in soil, under CFL) and even though over the past couple of months I've made a ton of mistakes, I was able to keep her alive and get some bud thanks to this site. Every time something went wrong I was able to find information here that was helpful. This is a great place.
Now a little about me. I started using MJ
a couple of years ago when I seriously injured my back. My doctor had me on Vicodin, but I've never been a fan of pills and I was worried about becoming dependent. A friend of mine suggested I try MJ and it really helped. I was able to stop taking my pain meds and I felt a lot better. Unfortunately, I don't live in a MMJ friendly state, so I was relying on friends to hook me up.
The reason i decided to start growing and found this site is that a few months ago, one of my friends ended up in the hospital, thinking he was dying. He told me they found traces of coke in his system, I guess some of his stuff was laced.
So now I'm here, I got worried and I figured if I grow my own I know exactly what goes into my plant and I could avoid that ever happening to me. Now I'm pretty much addicted to growing, I look forward to being part of this community, and learning as much as I can.
