just wondering

i thought i was a weed smoker til i got on this site which is realy helpful, but can anybody tell me how do i know how potent weed is. i mean i see 12 - 23 percent on thc level. i have no idea what dat mean.

23 percent is pretty much the dankest of the dank in terms of potency. 12-15% will still get you blitzed and every strain has somewhat different effects associated with it so to go by purely thc level is somewhat misleading. the only way i know of to test cannabis for potency would be to lab test it and even then idk what kind of tests they run to get the percentage. i'd like to find out though as i've always been curious as well. to my knowledge there is no way to test for potency at home (other than by smoking it )... if someone knows how to home-test your pot to find a thc level i would love to hear it but i'd assume there is not..

I don't know, I just go by how well it does the job. I'm not sure if it's how much thc ( 15%-20% ) or what kind of stone I get.
