Kief/Hash to Food?

I have tried to find any and I mean any reliable ratio on line and have found not one single source that seemed credible. I have "kief" 17 grams of it. Only difference between "kief" and "hash" is one is pressed. WOW! Talk about splitting hairs! Anyway. My question was/is how much "kief" screened off very potent buds, does it take or should I say should one use in a food like brownies, cookies ect.. Also there are some that say no need to melt it into butter first then cook with that butter and some that say you have to heat mix with oil or butter first????! One idiot said he was not sure 5 grams was enough for his 6 cookies. Sure! Ok so with all the info on this fucking plant it would seem someone would have a kief recipe and or know at least whether it had to be heated prior to being put in the batter? Also would seem someone would know how long if put in dry and at what temp cooking it would have to be to make it work.. Only real stuff shows a guy using 4lbs of butter and 1.3 grams of kief per lb. But his way is to slow heat it for like 2 fucking days in a crock pot.. I know there has to be a faster way. Also with the wide range of amounts to use there is no way someone like myself can feel safe or not feel like they are wasting good dust without more info.. I mean on the one hand, 5g per 6 cookies way, u might be off in trip land to much, the other way, 1.3 per lb butter, you will sit for 2 + days waiting on a slow ass crock pot and seems very light in the amount.. So not using green plant material no need to strain anything, please don't say to, but the questions on how much and the way to make it work by heating, cooking, times, temps and the like are almost impossibel to find that seem trust worthy.. Anyone have help please say so.. Thanks.

i dont really have an answer for you. but i think if you threw the kief in some melted butter and water, it wouldnt take too long to get 'stuck' to the butter. ill be watching this cuz im interested in this too. the edibles wont taste like weed at all

I make brownies with my ice hash all the time. i just warm up the vegetable oil and melt the hash into it and simmer it for like 25 minutes. then use the oil in some brownie mix. i usually put 10 grams or more into a batch. they get me and my friends good and medicated. i imagine you could do the same with your keif. put it all into one batch of brownies then just eat smaller pieces if its strong.

Ten grams of hash into one batch of brownies kind of seems like a bit of an overkill to me imo

kief is hash lol the the weight doesent change when you press it down unless you lose some in the process kief wll melt into butter verry nicly if its verry potent estimate out a recipie that you will put in about .3-.6 of kief per slice/cookie/piece what ever you do with it putting it right in food make sure it reaches a temp of at least 200 ferinheight so in the middle of your food this temp must be achieved i would make cannabutter first them make you brownies or cookies or lolipops or icecream what ever you make but i would say .3-.6 each piece

also 2 days is overkill 4 hours works personaly i do 8 i think 12 is overkill 6 hours of simmering is honestly about what you need but ive read things that say 20 mins to 1 hour with all the verients i would just feel it out you feel me? :bigjoint:
