Killing Germed Seeds

I recently germed 4 snow white seeds, and after they had poped, i planted them in some peat moss pots, and they are not sprouting up, i checked the seeds today after being in the pots for a week, and they have rotted. i planted them about the thickness of the seed deap, and I waited until they were atleast a 1/4 of an inch long to put them in. what am I doing wrong, is it possible to have the peat moss pots to wet?

yea water would be the cause. peat moss holds "a lot" of moisture you should of squeesed it out a bit and just misted them, or they rotted before you put them in the moss. but i wouldnt know

I've had bad luck germinating in tissue then putting them in rockwool. I've had 100% success putting seeds in rockwool and keeping it real wet. The act of transplanting destroys the micro hairs that are necessary for water intake.

From what you've said I think the moss was too wet and they rotted. Hope you have better luck next time m8.
