kind of tarp to block light?were to get

i need a type of tarp or something that i can hang down or nail into something that will block light from leaving my grow area is there any kind of tarp or something like this i can purchase at lowes or home depot?
 
I agree with Hydro black plastic. And you can get it anywhere. I was in a pinch and ended up using black garage bags before.
 
They sell plastic with one side black and one side white. Some one had listed it here once from E-Bay sold by the foot. Its 10' wide. I ordered a 100' roll of it last year. The light doesn't show through it. Works good as a movable curtian as well. VV
 


Black & White Poly 6 mil This waterproof poly film is black on the outside and white on the inside. The black backing and white surface work together to reflect 90% of the light striking it and send light back to the growing area. The waterproof, light-proof film also helps prevent algae and mold growth on walls. Double it up by putting the black surfaces together to economically and effectively partition off indoor gardens.
 
I spent around $100 with the shipping costs. I live in Michigan, ordered this from California and received it two days after I ordered it. I used the box as a dispenser by carefully cutting the top of the box open about 2". The box is about 3' wide, and the plastic was folded in a way that made it easy to work with. Thats 1000 square feet on that roll. It worked especially well for me because some of my ceilings are over 9' high. If I remeber right the shgipping cost was about $25. VV
 
Okay. Thanks for answering. Just wanted to double check the price I found. $89.95 sounded really expensive but then had nothing to compare it to. Thanks.
 
so there have black plastic at lowes or home depot? and does anyone know around what it will cost.and could i paint one side of the plastic a flat white to try to reflect some of the light?
