Wow!! How fast can the mall cop run your name to find out if you are medical? Or how about potential employers? LARA is not a good thing no matter how fast they are.

It is good that some cards are finally coming out faster. But the reality is the only reason it is happening is because one ot the lara heads had to testify before the Senate to try to stop them from making them outsource the card process. Even then they lied and said they were completely caught up and at that time they werent even close. It is amazing how fast things can progress when someone threatens to take it out of their hands.

LARA is bs. It should still be under MDCH as was
my original card. Does LARA have to (supposed
to) follow HIPPA laws?

Funny how MI doesn't want me to ccw now that I'm a patient. LoL the feds never had a prob with me carrying on the Hill, Pentagon or int'l airlines

Did you apply for a CCW and get denied because of your
med card? I have friends that have both med cards and CPL's
but never carry meds or pistols at the same time; only one
or the other.

Kinda said that the med law gives good citizens no protections
when it comes to guns, employment, or DUI's, but people that are
heavily addicted and pretty much intoxicated around the clock to
narcotic pain meds and benzos through their doctor have no problems
with any of those things (except maybe possible DUI's if they're
REALLY fucked up).

I have no need for a CPL, but know many no longer carrying here because of MMMP.

... same injury & pain, I've just changed up the Rx. Seems foolish to me at best. I'm still "dangerous" ;)

Well you know we aren't as responsible as alcoholics are. You hear about when they were trying to say we can't have a drivers licence if we have our card? People are insane.
