Large shade leaves

Is it advisable to prune off the large leaves to allow additional light to get into the new growth in the center of the plant? Thanks.

no... the leaves use the light... DO not trim LEAVES unless you KNOW exactly 100% what you are doing...

it is probably safe to say that 99% of the people who cut healthy green leaves from their plants are doing more harm than good...
