last years organic soil

hello everone i was courious about my unused soil from last year, would it be any good it sat in shed al thru last year its all mixes of organic soils but never used it. thru 144 gallons of soil away last year due to crop thiefs but still have soil left over.

only issue would be exposure to bugs, but it'll be just fine other than the additional risk of pests. And id it is amended with mychorrizae you may need to add a lil more, not sure how long they stay active/alive

I done this too, drag it out pile it into a wheel barrow or similar and work it over with a shovel, get some air into it, let the sun heat it up, and consider adding some amendments( piss on it) .. then allow to sit in the sun again to get those sleepy bugs working again

Avoid breathing it in, as it can make you sick

Good to use. I wouldn't worry about pests, add some crab meal, nematodes and bti dunks and should take care of any pests. Then just add the food amendments kelp alfalfa etc and let it sit for a bit. Best of luck.

how would you feed outdoor plants fully composted cow and sheep manur n .5 p .5 k .5 any suggestions and do you still need trace nuts or blood and bone

With Caution...! too much added is so easy to burn young plants, until you have built up some experience in this... just add, 10-20% at a time, I just did some of my last years mix and added a carefully measured 20% sheep/goat shit, tho I'm itching to add some blood and bone, I'll hold off for now perhaps add some later to a single test plant, an unwanted male!

I agree with this, I know I may sound like a broken record but REALLY you guys gotta try and find alpaca manure, check craigslist for alpacas for sale, or alpaca wool, and then email them. it's the best stuff, and it's almost impossible to burn with it, unless you are careless. It's like rabbit manure only better, and usually people don't sell it, if you volunteer to come pick it up, it's usually free, and once you use it, you'll never go back. Indoor or outside, it's awesome shit (literally)
