Latex gloves

So Ive read several times that you should wear latex gloves, so that you can collect the resin easily. Have seen where the latex gloves should not be powdered bc it can mix with the resin.

My main question is, will it be alright if the gloves are lightly powdered inside? These are the only ones I could find at walmart.

Inside would be fine as long as you do not pull them off over your bud dusting the buds with powder or then handle buds with powder covered hands after removing the gloves.

You could also try Nyplex, because the bad thing with latex is that some people are allergic to it. So if one of your friends has a latex allergy and smokes it can swell up their sinuses and throat causing them to suffocate. Also some people just have skin allergies to latex, but yeah better to be safe than sorry.

I have both allergies and that's what happens to me when I'm in close range to latex, even worse when in direct contact.

Wow so latex gloves worn with no powder can affect the smoker? if the plant was trimmd with them on? so what about food grade gloves?

Well if a friend of mine called me up and told me they had some smoke for me and to come over and toke, and then proceeded to tell me they used latex gloves while trimming or handling the herb, I would turn them down for my own health/safety honestly.

Nyplex gloves are closer to latex than Vinyl (Haven't found anything else better yet) I use Nyplex gloves all the time when tattooing. They're usually purple colored gloves at Walmart.

Well I kind of already used them. I dont see how using the Latex on the weed could cause problems, but i got one more plant to do, ill pick up some other gloves tomorrow to do that plant, just to be safe.
