First off i just wanna say thx to those that have given me advice in previous threads on lighting , nutes etc and even when the plant was stuck in rockwool lol , nice 1.

20140616_124557.jpg Ok, i am 7 weeks from seed and have just flipped to 12/12 4 days ago and changed the 2 x 300w cfls it was vegging under for a lumatek 250w hps as advised .
The bulb is in a cooltube and was about 6" from the top of the plant (ive moved it up now to about 8" until i get some advice). I can hold my hand inbetween the plant and cooltube comfortably, obviously i can feel the heat but it doesnt burn.
I`ve noticed some sweating on some of the leaves which are mainly the ones im worried about (pictured), they are turning a lighter /pale green . Does this look like a deficiency, if so which? Or heat from the bulb? I have just refilled the pot today and increased the flowering nutes to around 2/3rds of the recommended as the ppm`s were very low in the rez at around 200 from 580 4 days ago.
While i had it out of the pot i thought id take some snaps of the roots as well as i noticed a few weeks ago some browness had appeared on them by the net and i have been adding rot stop every complete water change since just in case.
I have also been adding a low dose of DP multi total every water change as i was advised this should clear up the cal/mag deficiency i had earlier on , but have since been told this wouldn`t have helped , i needed to use calmag?20140804_135417.jpg 20140804_135429.jpg 20140804_135439.jpg 20140804_135858.jpg 20140804_135919.jpg 20140804_135935.jpg 20140804_140028.jpg

Sorry for the list of questions, just trying to cover everything in one post instead of making multipe threads :)

1. What is the light green/paleness likely to be?
2. Is the light ok at 6" from the top of the plant ?
3. Should i be looking to get the humidity down at lights out?
4. Am i ok to have doubled the flowering nute dose from 1/3 to 2/3 in such a short space of time?
5. Do my roots look ok?
6. Will the older leaves that suffered from the deficiency and nute burn just die off?

Grow Space 1x1x2m
At lights out the humidity is around 60% , lights on 30%
Lights on temp 79-83F
Lights off temp 76-79F
Nutes
Vitalink Max Bloom
Silicone+
Dutch Pro Multi Total

Tia for any advice.....

1. needs more nutes, dont be afraid to feed them at full dose
2. light can be close to plant without burning it, hand test: hover your hand 10 seconds over plant, if hand get uncomfortable hot move it up
3.imo the less humidity the better, pm and bud rot sucks to have
4.yes, give it full nutes
5. yes they look delicious
6. most likely they will

ok thanks for the advice, ill aim for full strength nutes then :) and keep the light where it is , just worried about burning again thats all. Can you recover from burn in flower?

ok its only been 2 days....at what rate are they getting yellow? This just might be the aftermath. you can expect yellowing for a few days

i cant tell to what extent without moving it out from under the hps , its lights out now so ill up some pics tomorrow , how long should it take to appear better? and as i said in other post it seems to have stopped feeding since i upped the nutes. I woud have thought that if it was deficiency it would have supped up the nutes it needed from the increased nute mix i added , but the ppm are the same or going up slightly?

thx for your help by the way.

Just looked at this for the first time, from my exper. light green-yellowing leaves with green veins normally is Iron Deff. just my opinion, see what others say..

Its Nitrogen , you mean..iron defic is rare I think. so I dont know if thats the light of the pic...is that light green or the pic? If it is , I dont know if youre on the cusp of N toxicity or need more N...dilemma

it could be the light in the pic. Nitrogen deff. is all of the leaf is yellowing.. Iron is a yellow leaf with green veins if my education is coming back to me correct ;-)
