Fox farm ocean forest, advanced nutrients, big bud and bud candy, ph is at 6.5-6.8 dont know the others you mentioned, everything is fine with all that just dont understand this issue it's not effecting growth it dont seem like and no leaves are yellowing or dying just folding weird, have it under led and a CFL, and small uvb one 4"x4" Intake fan with 2 exhaust fans one on top one on side of grow chamber
Last watered 2 days ago, 2 liters of water no nutes, in a 5 gallon pot, been feeling dry after about 2 days maybe 1 1/2 days, water till I see runoff on the bottom and it usually fills the pan under the pot about half way, maybe. And I'm only using big bud, shows potassium but dont think phosphorus. I was gonna swtich to fox farm big bloom, I did use Cal Mag for a few feedings as I didn't notice it was 4% nitrogen and I feel I gave it to much nitrogen for flowering, the last 2 or 3 waterings have just been 1 liter feed and 1 liter straight water total of 2 littles for the 5 gallon bucket
"You get salt buildup in the pot. Because wet soil is composting, and leaching its salt content."
Tim, I do wish you would stop posting in this forum. You make no sense. How does salt build up take place if the soil is composting and leaching it's salt content? What proof do you have, or are you just talking nonsense for the pleasure of doing so? What proof do you have that the soil is composting? Wouldn't the leaching be replaced when the OP adds nutrients?
FFOF doesn't need nutrients, or at least for several weeks (and maybe for an entire grow). Adding extra nutrients is the reason why this plant doesn't look good. The soil probably has too low of a pH due to all the nutrients. That's all there is to it. Under water and over water at the same time? Only Tim1987 would say something so ridiculous.
View attachment 4151528 View attachment 4151530 View attachment 4151531 So I'm about 3 or 4 weeks into flower and a lot of my leaves all of a sudden started to look really weird, my temp does not go above 75 and humidity not above 55 water and feed every other day or when soil feels dry, I did feed some nitrogen to the flank in flower for the first week or two (not large amounts it was in the Cal Mag I used) could that be it, maybe to much air flow on the leaves? Everything seems to be growing and everything really well bud sights are forming great just have this one weird issue maybe someone can lead me in the right direction to help her out?
Compost isn't soil. It's other materials that break down and are used by plants because somebody added it to the soil. Potting soil doesn't have compost in it unless someone puts it there.
Your thinking, I suppose, that compost and soil are the same. They aren't. But yes, compost can be found in soil. My point was that since the OP is using potting soil, there's no compost in it. Your statement was that the potting soil is composting and leaching nutrients. This idea is nonsense. Another silly statement from you was the overwatering and underwatering at the same time remark. But obviously I can't get through to you. It would be better for others if you quit using this forum. You're misleading people with bad info. Just because I'm trying to correct you, doesn't make me a troll.
Remember the grower is using a potting soil. This isn't the same as compost or soil outdoors. It's forest products that have had nutrients added so the potting soil becomes a water-and-forget-it kind of grow medium. That's what Foxfarm is selling people. If you give extra fert while using this soil, chances are you're asking for trouble. That's why I've responded to this thread.
Are you sure it's not wind burn . I hear you stated the plant is still growing fine and nitrogen clawing stunts growth . But if there's not excessive amount of air blowing directly on them then maybe it is nitrogen smh but you haven't gave them nitrogen in weeks right? But main question is did you do a flush at the beginning of flower? Please don't feed them big bloomView attachment 4151528 View attachment 4151530 View attachment 4151531 So I'm about 3 or 4 weeks into flower and a lot of my leaves all of a sudden started to look really weird, my temp does not go above 75 and humidity not above 55 water and feed every other day or when soil feels dry, I did feed some nitrogen to the flank in flower for the first week or two (not large amounts it was in the Cal Mag I used) could that be it, maybe to much air flow on the leaves? Yep.Imo that would be Nitrogen toxicity. Dark green, clawing

Yep.
I believe so too.
Imo it's low PK that's causing it.
Antagonism. Almost certain.
But I really think a few plain waterings are the first things it needs.
Personally I wouldn't feed any nutrients for a week or two, and plain water only.
A few big drinks.
