Leaf Problem!!

Unfortunatly the larger leaves on my plant are browning/on the larger leaves and seem to be fading in spots to a white color. They also feel very dry ? My avatar pic is a close up of one of the worse leaves on my plant. What could be causing this ?
 
Room is like 75-80 degrees I use to have a few 3500K bulbs along with a few 6500K bulbs but just 2 days ago started with only 6500K. I don't know PPM or rh ? I flushed the soil a few days ago the plant is only 2 1/2 weeks old and I topped it yesterday but this leaf problem was going on before the topping.
 
Well spectrum shouldn't really matter with leaf degradation.. How big of pot/container do you have your medium in. Go to your local grociery store get some epsom salts. I use a half tblspn to a gallon. It helps replace manganese as well as some calcium. You should post some pics up of specific leaves

Is it browning from the inside out or from the tips And edges ???
 
I had them in some pretty small cups they were in large jack in the box cups but yesterday moved to a 1 gal containers :/ they are burning from inside out and are in MG moisture control potting mix, message me when your back on I'm gonna be on all day, the leaves feel crusty too :/
 
I would say nute burn. As long as you flushed and transplanted you should be ok. Does it look like the color was drowned out of the leaf and its brown and crusty? Like the nutes are too "HOT" for that plant. Do you know genetics of this plant
 
Im having this problem on most of my plants, but only on a few leaves on each plants. There is no rhyme or reason to where the "burned" leaves are located on the plant. The tips are turning brown and curling up, and spots on the leaves are brown and dry and dead with a really lite yellow around it. Ill include some pics, if anyone has any ideas i could use them. That is nute burn my friend, I grow hydro so you'll need to do some homework to find out what to do for your soil.
 
Ya thats what I thought but it started when I wasnt giving any fert, jus plain water, and Ive been using the same mix for a bit. Its 2 tbls to gal. water of Fox Farm Tiger Bloom.
 
The pictures are of a couple different plants, They are in bloom, not that small but only in bloom for 20 days or so.

I'm sure you meant to say "tsp" (teaspoon). I have a bottle of FF Tiger Bloom sitting in front of me and the application schedule suggest 2-3 teaspoons/gallon every other watering. Nice looking plant!
 
Hey guys, My fem'd white widow named Amber is doin great and she's got nice dark green new growth and she's coming up on her 3rd set of true leaves on like day 22 (If you think that's slow, I shocked the fuck out of her when I transplanted her so she's like a week behind). Her first set of leaves looks like it has nute burn? or something like it. It's yellowing around the edges on both leaves on the first set. She's in miracle grow unfortunately but it seems to be working well. watered with straight water when it gets dry so like every 3 to 5 days. Keep the pH runoff between 6.5-6.6pH No added nutes yet. Vegging under 400W HPS. temps usually 82-86F. I've heard it's normal to have yellowing and sometimes death of old leaves but do you guys have any ideas or suggestions? Should I start on 1/4 strength nutes?

I see the cotyledon leaves have dried up and the 1st and 2nd sets of leaves are yellowing. Yep, it's time to start your nutrients at 1/4 strength. In soil, watch the cotyledon leaves. When they start to yellow it's time to start the nutrients. Good luck on your grow!
 
next time transplaant about an hour to lights off, this gives the plant to recover and not stress that much. try giving it 1/4 nute of cal mag, probly a defficiency

Thanks! The thing is every since I did the bad transplant, the cotyledons have freaked out and turned yellow and shriveled up. So I didn't want to use that as an indicator.

Yeah, this is only my second grow so I'm still learning. I got some epsom salt if it's Mg so I'll sprinkle that in at next watering.



You guys have any suggestions for nutes that I can get locally? Or something I can locally until I get something off the net? I'm still pretty new and on my last grow, I didn't even make it to nutes. And can someone PLEASE explain what "organics" is? How do you know that something is "organic". If you use non-organic stuff, does it make the smoke toxic or something?
