learner

i have a plant that i started from seed but not sure what breed it is.nuffing special,ie..skunk or nout like that,just a canabis plant,thats all i know.anyway,it bout 4wks old and looking healthy and lush green and am giving it 18hs light a day with my200w envirolite high output correct spectrum.the problem is i have the inlaws visiting and wanted to hide my baby for a couple of days.would it do the plant any harm if i put it in my loft/attic where it would be away for its normal light source and in total darkness,please help if u can.many thanks..ps sorry for the lack of knowhow,we all have to start somewhere.
