Learning the mistakes

I just completed my first grow ever (Trainwreck). It was a success as I was able to harvest. Some things I learned along the way for my first grow. I was going according to ILGM feeding schedule (used their fertilizer) and feel like I wasn’t feeding my plant enough, despite following the feeding schedule. As my first time, I was too cautious it seems also. Currently preparing for the next grow with two plants waiting to germinated

I handled the defoliation pretty well during the veg stage, giving her a nice shape. Really my downfall for this grow was more than likely not feeding my plant enough. I mixed some of the left over FF ocean floor soil with bone meal and molasses mixed in the soil this time around. I grow in a 2x2x4 tent so I understand my yields will not be super big, but still feel I can do better and get fatter buds this time around. If you all have any advice or input for a new grower like me to prepare better for the next grow, definitely open ears!

Doing two plants this time around to kinda experiment different growing methods until I find something that works for me.

Yup I was over in Reddit getting some ideas of reputable seed companies. I know what many have mentioned was North Atlantic Seed Co. definitely will be my go to as I have hardly heard any bad things.

Bodhi I believe has some decent specials now and are affordable. Currently I'm very impressed with Chernobyl s1 from bob bitchens, also affordable. I have some greenpoint on deck and again decently priced.

I really like to not overdo base nutrients. I like 1/4 and finally one 1/2 strength. I find pushing nutrients to 3/4 to not be necessary, and can even be too much for finicky strains. So keep them at half. then you’ll have wiggle room to moderatly add some other things to the soup like a bloom booster for instance at the right time.
