looked at plants today threw magnify class and the leaves near buds have candy looking stuff on them

Keep that as a part of the bud. If there are trichome's on it it's all good. Some will be whiny and say NAAAOOOOOWWWW wah, wah it's not as potent, well POOP on that!!!!!!

ya i just realized candy is a bad description, i googled trichome's and that is def want it is, they are like all over the leaves? why is this?

also just noticed some of the hairs are a redish color but im only in the 3rd week of flowering
