Do cannabis leaves naturally droop down more when the light goes off, then stand back up while the lights on? I couldn't find much information on this.
I'm a first time grower and I have 6 plants that have been in vegatative growth for about 2 weeks, I started with 13 day old clones I got from a friend, which were about 2 to 3in tall when I first got them. They had a good root system going so I pretty much immediately transplanted them into 4in rockwool cubes which I use with a drip system, using Botanicare veg blend and liquid karma mixed in to about 8 gallons. I keep the ph around 6.0-6.5 since I'm using organic nutrients. I have them under 4 t8 fluorescent bulbs one is a warm spectrum the rest are cool white. I keep the temp aroun 72-77 degrees and humidity is 57-65.
Unfortunately my timers only have 30 min intervals, so I'm watering once a day for 30 min, just seem like twice a day for 30 min is soaking them too much! Is it essential to have 15 min interval timers for my plants or will the 30 min suffice? Also what is the theory on leaving the light on for 24 hours during the first few weeks of growth vs the 18 and 6 photoperiod? I've recently moved to 20hrs on 4hrs off and I'm going to see if they pick up more.
It just seems like my plants are growing very slowly, they also droop down a little when they are receiving their watering as well, is this normal too? My biggest plants are only about 7 in tall, and they are Green Crack strain, I also have 2 Salmon Creek females. I think the Salmon Creek are the short 4in tall ones with a thick stem. Any help would be much appreciated! I really want to get these little girls a good start before I throw them in my flowering room!! Need some good advice from the professionalzzz!!! Thanks!
