LED Light Purchase

I plan on buying a 1m x 1m x 2m grow tent and was thinking about getting led's as the light source to minimise the heat detectable from outside the tent.

I do not have a massive budget and need to be able to get them shipped to the uk.

I only plan on growing 3 plants in the tent and a few clones to keep things going.

Any suggestions on what to go for?

Is ebay an option?

Have heard a people mention kessil h150 and blackstar but am unsure of uk pricing.

im going to suggest at least a 240w blackstar if not 2. based on my growing that is what im going with my new tent setup is 2 240w blackstar led's with cfl's as supplemental lighting and another 100w to finish off the flowering.

2 240s are the way to go indeed, pricing should only be a touch more due to shipping.

I have been flowering w/ a 400 watt HPS and just added a 240 watt Blackstar (got mine from Ebay) to it.

I havent had it for more than a few days but so far Im pretty happy. The light is brighter than I expected, the fans also keep it cool and are quiet. Im very new to LED's, but from all ive read the Blackstar and Kessil seem to be the best bang for the buck.

combo HID/LED is the superior method of lighting you plants
JUst harvested my first 4 plants last night and goddamn great weight and amazing quality.
