left light on 8 hrs too long by mistake

hi there,
total noob question here. the override switch on my timer left my light on for an extra 8 hrs today before i got home from work. exactly how bad is this and is there anything i can do to help the problem. maybe leave the light off for extra time?
the plants are sour diesel in the 6th week of flower in an ebb and flow system using 1000 watts.
any help would be greatly appreciated!
