What's the cause of leggy seedlings when using white led? Even though they are getting 10k lux they get leggy, never had this problem with purple led.

Distance. Seeds can only take so much light. So we tend to leave them under illuminated and they stretch a little. You can burry all that stem tho don't worry. I don't do anything special for my seeds. I put them extra far from my veg lights and let them get to their first 3 finger leaves before I move them closer to light add introduce feed.

What sort of led do you use and how far away from the seedlings to you keep it?

Cob cree 3070 55w at 50/60cm 7-10k lux.

But why do they get leggy when they are getting so much lux, never had this problem with purple+lenses?

Depends how many cobs he's using tho, if theyre 190 per chip.

I've never had leggy seedlings under samsung lm301's or vero29se's.

Because according to this calculator, you are only giving them 190 PPFD, which is practially fuck all.

10,000 LUX, 3000K LED

How many lux do seedlings need 5000-7000?

My purple led from 2012 performed better.

Just lower the light by a couple of inches at a time. That ll do it. As mwntioned above you can plant the whole stem so all good.
