Just got the first light burn from my DIY build, I have got 300w of them per m2... 20cm from the top...

Dayummmn, that's some serious photon saturation there.... Id have to say you're in need of some sort of light measuring device to find the proper light level. I've never used one of the LUX apps on a smartphone, but Ive heard of others using them.....
I have a $25 Ebay "Dr. Meter" LUX device, that I use for my builds. Ive taken some grows up to 60,000 LUX without any adverse effect, but I dunno if that meter is really that accurate, its just a tool for RELATIVE light measurement in my spaces.....

mine are a similar distance. most of my f series strips are vertical and i have some buds an inch or 2 from a strip with no notice of light burn. over all my strips are 2" up to about 8"
