All 8 Just when you think you’ve got the hang of growing, reality deals you a dose of STFU!
So I’ve identified a mistake I’ve made and it can be the only variable really.
So I had 8 plants vegging in one tent and although it was crowded in there and not suitable space to flower, they were thriving!!! Vigorous growth but I had to split them out into two tents (4 plants in each) to flip them to flower and stagger them by a couple of weeks so I’m not overwhelmed come harvest.
Everything was going fine and I was sure to match the same PPFD, humidity levels, airflow, CO2 getting them flower nutes to prep them for flip etc…all dialled in and the same for the four I’d moved to the new tent.
Anyway they have become limp, lifeless and the tops a bit twisted, not to reveg levels but… as you can see… they don’t look right.
(They are a little underwater/fed as well, but this pic was prior to feeding)
The other four which stayed in the original tent are fine, still looking healthy. So I can only deduce this must be due to the following…
So turns out I’d missed something… I’d had the 8 plants vegging on 22/2 light cycle and I put the new tent on 24 hours of light.
Would that really have such a dramatic effect? And if so will they easily bounce back? Should I give them the two hours of dark, or stick with 24h? Will that help them or or just confuse them further? I’m hoping they recover and it will fit in with my staggering a couple weeks, if that’s how long they take to get back on track.
Thanks in advance.
