Light cycle OOPS!

I have a 5x5 tent with about 16 plants in it. Vegged for about 3 weeks from clone, Put them in 12/12 about 35-40 days ago, I was looking at them today and noticed some new branchy growth coming out of the buds and discovered the light timer got switched to "on" instead of "timer" so they have been on 24/0 for maybe a couple weeks, put them back to 12/12

How bad is this and what do you think will happen?

Thank you all!

A couple weeks?

I'm glad to hear that they haven't gone hermie already.

Why haven't you noticed them being on for 24hrs for a couple wks?

I had a power outrage for about 56mins earlier during my daytime 12/12 and hope to not see any hermies!

Being dropped on her head and having her entire hormonal balance are hardly comparable.
Seriously, how did you not notice your light cycle being wrong for weeks? Timers should be checked at least weekly, but daily when possible, pain in the ass sure, but then you know that this won't happen.
I don't see good things coming from this, watch for males popping out of your females.

Its a remote grow mostly automated, I can't get out to it as often as I would like. The last few times I was there was during the on cycle so I didn't see that it was not going off. I noticed some shoots coming out of the nuggs so I investigated and found the flipped switch. I know I'm a terrible dad, but all the other units are going strong!
