Light cycle question

I have my lights set for 7am to 7pm...it's starting to get really hot and hitting temps in the low 90s in the tent..would it be ok to switch the hrs reverse? 7pm to 7am. As its still in the 40s to 50s at night. My gut is telling me no..but I still had to ask, just incase.

I have honestly never changed my 12/12 light schedule so drastically so I can't say. I always set my 12/12 day to 630pm-630am and have only migrated a few hours back or forth a few times until I settled on 630. I guess it would depend on how long they have been in the 12/12 cycle. If you are only a week or less in switch now, I would just allow the lights to go off at 7pm and then reset so they come back on at 730pm 24 hours later. I sometimes do a 24-36 hour darkness in between veg and flower if I have a empty flower room when I move the vegged plants over. But still, I honestly cannot say if there would be consequences or not. If I had 90+ temps and switching over helped lower my room temps 5-10+ degrees I would chance it. I guess herms would be the biggest threat.

Yea do that. But when you do it. Turn the lights off for 24 hours. When flowering its better to have more dark than more light. So go 7am-7pm then leave them of until 7pm the next day
