Light leaks thru gables near roof, for everyone to see! Help

I don't have the option to build walls around my area, so you can see the light thru the gables in the front of the house at night! I have the timer set for 12midnight to 6pm next day. Can anyone tell me, is there something I can put up to cover that area without blocking the air flow?

Patch that up somehow (even blocking air flow) and make a new area for air to flow? One that isn't facing out toward the street?

Just an option.
