Hi everyone, I recently moved some girls from veg (4' 8 bulb T5) into flower under my 600W HPS. Before I moved them into flower room I think some of the plant got burnt by the T5? What does this pic look like to you guys? I was giving them (5ml Calmag, 1TBS Botanicare Metabolic Grow) every watering.

Just flushed this one a few minutes ago.. the first soil run off ppm's were like 1800+ so I flushed with RO till the ppms were at 200 or so.

THANK YOU FOR ANY AND ALL HELP!!

Ok but not really having a 600 close with all that will still bleach ur plants..maybe he Thought it was okay to have the hps right on top like he had the t5s? You don't know .
....If you ask that question, then you also have to ask about what type of covering is on the light. Cool tubes ? Airflow through them? All that matters when considering how far a plant is from its light source.

Right, I do think the heat from his lights got the tops for sure. Its an adjustment from T5 or CFL to HPS or MH It also looks like somethings gone on further down the plant as well, but not as bad as the tops.
Anway, those affected leaves wont recover but new growth should be salvageable. Go easy on them nutes...!

So what should I do to ease the transition between T5 and flower under the 600w hps
Guess we won't be putting our T5 2" from the canopy again (lol). Since you already have an 600w hps, you might consider getting a 600w mh bulb, assuming your ballast will handle it (most new ones do). That way, you don't mess with the plant from veg to flower...you change the bulb. I would go to every yellow or burnt leaf and cut them like you probably did on your clone. Cut each finger in half. She will be ok and actually looks healthy. I wouldn't do any other trimming right now, as she is surely stressed. Peace
