light question - flood lamp ?

hey, i have one small question, i just wanted to know if i could grow 5 plants with a 500 watt flood lamp and 75 watt plant light bulb thanks

flood lamps will not cut it..

It's simply the wrong light spectrum. Where are you growing your plants? I highly recommend fluorescent tube lighting for the veg stage; they really are quite cheap and run low electricity; cost me less than $9 for the ballast at lowe's and less than $5 for the bulbs at lowes. If you have the money to spend, get a metal halide bulb for vegging, and a high pressure sodium for flowering.

a flood light will blow if u keep it on for the times requird. i tried it once a couple years back.

no it wont i leave mine on 18 hours a day

dont bother with floods,they will burn and your plants wont survive very long.just leave them in the garage lamp socket.cfls are the way to go for low budget growing.and they make danky dank buds that ooze and ooze with sticky goo.
