Also I Never Used Cfl's Before And Keep Hearing That One Of The Advantages Is That It Plugs Straight Into Light Fixtures But Don't You Got To Get Some Kind Of An Adapter?

this is very pricey but how many plants could you have with one of these

its really not that bad if you consider that the ho ballast is also quite expensive if bought individually i use to install signs and thats what we used and a ballast would be around 100-150 bucks by itself
