Light Schedule SWITCH from 24/0 to 16/8

Is my plant ready to switch from 24 hrs of light to 16 hrs with 8 hrs of dark? It is almost a month old. It has been under constant day light/ CFL mixture. Can I simply put it outside and let nature take its course? Also when males come in, WHEN should they be removed, and HOW?

16/8? Thats odd...are you sure you didnt mistype that and meant 18/6?

12/12 is the light cycle for flowering and when you see males, get rid of them anyway you can. Trash, burn them, chop um up etc...
