Light Set Up / Questions

Here is my set up it is a 150 Watt light for 4 plants. My concern is that one plant is growing a lot taller and skinnier than the others. Is it too tall? Not enough light? Also on many of the leaves I trimmed off because they were too yellow or brown, do these plants look healthy? One last question, they were seedling at the beginning of November, making them 2 months old, are they ready to flower?

You have what looks to me like one total sativa and two indica dominant and one relatively total indica. The two lankiest ones seem to be stretching way too much.

It looks like you have a 150w HPS. I have heard that you should have a 100w per plant as a general rule of thumb. The 2 smaller looking indica plants look great imo. I think you should look into some supplementary light if you plan on continuing to grow 4 plants. And yes you could start the 12/12 flowering process whenever you want. I agree with potpimp that the other sativa looking plants are strtching quite a bit. Try topping or LSTing so your canopy is close to being even with your other plants. This will help with getting the lower branches lots of light during the flowering process.

The scrawny sativa looks pitiful. Notice the drooping leaves near the top. Over- or under-watering
either will cause that look.

More wattage is important, but so is distance from the light. Jack the plants up closer to the light and use
the hand trick. If you can hold your hand over the top of the plant and not feel too warm you are OK. A
plant 3 feet from the light gets a fraction of the wattage if the plant was closer. So take advantage of what
you have to get the most out of your grow.
