Light tube - Wikipedia

been thinking about this a lot, and stumbled across these things. Its cool they exist.
Yeah that’s like stuff I was thinking about. Mirrors reflecting light and stuff with a big magnifying ball on your roof to catch all the light and funnel it into a grow room… then I see these things! Pretty neat.Reminds me of Indie

I cant remember the company name but they do fiber optic sun lights that tracks the sun. No big holes in the roof and you can run the cables anywhere you want, within reason.
YES! Work em into the 12/12 or 18/6I've installed a couple of the sun tubes, they're pretty sweet. Growing is the first thing I thought of. I bet they would be awesome as supplemental lighting.
Yeah refracting balls like this are extremely dangerous due to their ability to capture light and refract it into a fine point, like down a tunnels tube. That’s how these things would be engineered. What is this? Looks extremely dangerous. I contact juggle acrylic balls and leaving them in sun is a big no-no.
