i believe as long as you pay your bill on time you will be fine. Police cant just get a warrant based on high usage of an electric bill. however if the police have suspition your growing they can use your electric bill as part of there evidence to get a warrent to search your place. but if u dont sell, tell and no smell then you should have nothing to worry about, im no law expert but im sure if police got a warrent based on nothing but a high usage of electricty u could probably get it thrown out in court. if i were u i would do 1 of the following
-regester a small business like a dry cleaner or something that uses alot of electric power, tell the electirc company about your home business and enquire if your house can handle that many watts even though it probably can they will log your convo and your high bill wont be as sus.
-grow in a 5 bedroom house, the more bedrooms the less suspicous a high bill is.
-if your that paranoid run some wattage on a generator and some on eletricity.
-also a spike in your bill might seem sus when my bill jumped they sent someone to check if my reading was correct. so maybe gradually add the wattage so it just $100 or so extra a bill.
-grow in a comercial warehouse and use as many watts as u like.(if your selling)
