Lighting advice please!

hey everyone just wondered if u guys could gimme me ur thoughts on this lighting system i found online that i was thinking about purchasing. Its a Metal Halide 400w system with a 4 inch reflector, ballast and bulb included. Heres the link so u guys can check it out

How many plants do u think would be able to grow comfortably under this system, i have some bagseed and was planning on getting some white russian seeds as well. All feedback wanted. Thanks!!

Looks like a great system, but metal halides are most suited for vegetative growing. but a MH will be able to take you all the way through flowering. just like an hps will veg sufficently, just not optimum. nice reflector too cause u can be able to vent it very very easily. u could grow 4-6 plants under that light. White russain is a very good strain, some of the best ive ever smoked.

I would just get an HPS and use some flouros for veg. Otherwise you'll be shorting yourself when you flower.

ok thanks for the advice, ive heard about those digital ballasts that can be switched to metal halide for when in veg and then it has a switch for HPS for flowering, would that be worth buying or shouldi just buy a complete HPS system?

i think the switchable ballast is worth buying. if you dont wanna go that route u can get a conversion MH bulb to run in your hps system.
