Lighting Decision, Need Help

I am about to upgrade my 3x3 flowering table to a 4 x 8. My intentions where to get 3 600w hps with a standard 6" air cooled hood. But now looking at the XXXtreme hoods, I am thinking two 1000w with those hoods. Price is not a real big concern, but production is. any experience is appreciated.

I have used both 600 and 1000w lights. I think what it really comes down to is height. To get the most of your 1000w, you want to maximize the cone, right? The right reflector will help with this, but there is still a limit at any given height. In a basement, for example, I might consider 4x 600 instead of 2x 1000. I have both currently, and I think there's better coverage, and adequate lumens, with the 2x 600 vs 1x 1000 given height limitations. If I had another foot or 18 inches might be a different story.

IMO, which is probably not pro nor amature, just noob.

I would go with 4x600w. and have that 6" ventilation and aircooled cooltubes or similar reflector. ( should keep it running cool )
Line all walls with black/white plastic but preferably with mylar.
