can I use these for veg??

for veg you need 6500k can i use these lights?

Yup, thats what I use... FYI the first pic is t12 bulbs and those are t8 fixtures... but I have the same fixture from walmart. I use t8s and t12s with those exact bulbs for veg...

alright nice looks like im set for veg than going to get them tonight! haha, also can't i just get different bulbs to put in for flowering as well??

are you going to run just the 2 bulbs and one hood for a couple plants or what? i wasnt aware walmart carried these and i'm looking to get started on my grow.

No for a few more bucks you can get a small HPS. Leave the fluro tubes on the shelf and get a HPS.
