lighting question

i was jus wondering wat is the most inexpensive and most effective lighting for flowering?

hps for sure in my book. if you don't have to worry about the power.

I am going with t-5 for veg, they work great and are low cost on electricty, and a 600 hps for flowering. so t-5 are from 150 for 4 foot 4 bulb to 250 for 8 foot 8 bulb.
and the other is 200 for ballast and 100 for bulb.

HPS all the way....IF you can tame that bitch.....heat that is. A 1000 hps light/furnace will produce buds the size of your arm but if the heat can't be controlled the buds will be the size of your finger.
